Snowmass
Rembrant
is a full Peruvian son of 5Peruvian Chaccu, a sire of champions, and 4Peruvian
Orellana, a medium fawn import from the Sollocata region of
Peru.
Rembrant's fleece character is extremely
dense, lustrous and has a high
frequency, medium amplitude crimp. At one year of age, his
micron count was a 17.6 and as a four year old his micron
had only elevated to a 21.5. His conformation is typey and his temperament and presence are simply
outstanding.
Rembrant's
sire, 5 Peruvian Chaccu, was the 2001 AOBA National Show –
Blue Ribbon winner in the Get of Sire Class. Chaccu
was originally used extensively in the Snowmass Alpacas
Breeding Program. Chaccu represents rare blood here in
the US as he is from the Puno Region in Peru where very few
genetics were released during the imports to the US.
Plan
to raise the excitement and fleece quality in your herd by breeding
to Snowmass Rembrant.
